Many people have deeply sympathized with the young Moroccan engineer Mohamed Amine Bouabdelli who was in need of a huge amount of money for a heart transplant in France. Some people launched Facebook pages and engaged in campaigns to raise funds for his operation. Media have intensively participated in this campaign by showing the case of the young man and the plight of his widowed mother who could afford nothing to save her son.
The grassroots and synergic work of people finally paid off. One of the Facebook pages set to sensitize people towards the case of Amine posted a picture of Mohamed Amine smiling on his bed in a Parisian hospital.
?You are many who ask about the case of Amine, this photo that dates back to the day of his arrival in Parisian hospital speaks for itself. One clearly sees that Amine is gradually regaining his smile ? Al-Hamdulillah- and his mood is great!? says the admin of the page.
?The day he arrived, he underwent an immediate surgery for cardiac support, which aims to stabilize his condition while waiting for the eventual heart transplant. Since his resuscitation, visits are strictly prohibited for the coming weeks? he adds.
It should be noted that the donations did not reach the required amount, but a specific unknown, philanthropist, who is neither the state nor its officials, eventually stepped in to complete the amount by which Mohamed Amine managed to travel together with his mother on an equipped plane to a specialized hospital in France
?We are very reassured and confident that Mohamed Amine is supported by a highly competent medical team in one of the most renowned hospitals in the area, which was the aim of our action Alhamdolillah,? says the admin of page that posted the photo.
